About

Ion Velica is a Sales Director with a thirty-years background in the trade business.

 

In 1980 he started working with Fosam -office system furniture- directing and driving export sales activity and distribution plans for European and international markets -potential markets, client management-.

 

In 1986 he joined Frezza S.p.A. -one of the leading companies in the field of office furniture in Italy- as Export Manager for Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia, South Africa, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.  Moreover, he collaborated with CASAMANIA, carrying out market research activities and managing worldwide sales opportunities for Italian design and luxury home furnishings.

 

 

As Co-Director of Frezza Deutschland from 1995 to 1999, he contributed to implement and develop the design office furniture market in Germany.

 

Meanwhile, he also established a partnership with DoimOffice Group as Area Manager and he is still cooperating with the well-known company.

Furnishing the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy in Baku

Absolut Bank in Moscow

Russian Standard Vodka in Saint Petersburg

and the participation in international trade fairs/exhibitions.

 

 

In 2010 Ion Velica founded JVR Consultancy in Dubai. He decided to take advantage of his experience, gathered in the sector of the trade consultancy, to offer support in negotiation and mediation in sales business.

 

His dynamic personality along with a full professional proficiency of 8 different languages -Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Romanian and Russian- ensure his ability to meet customer requirements and fully understand the complexity of the markets, in order to establish strong and durable relationships.

 

A deep cross-cultural awareness of the countries, added to his excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enable Ion Velica to interact with the clients in a targeted way towards their objectives, using innovative trading techniques.
